The Solution

Continuant came on board with Intrust and helped them get set up on Continuant Connect in short order. Continuant Connect is a collaboration platform that integrates communication systems with the cloud and makes migrating to new UCaaS and CCaaS solutions easy.

Through Continuant Connect, Intrust migrated almost 1,300 users to Teams. This seamless migration allowed them to decommission their Cisco equipment and cancel their Cisco licenses, saving boatloads of money and aligning their voice environment to their larger collaboration strategy.

The Challenge

Intrust Bank maintained communications across its 80 different branches with a Cisco system and smart data center. Though state-of-the-art in its time, it wasn’t enough to keep up with ever-growing collaboration demands. Intrust planned to move from its Cisco architecture to Microsoft Teams but had to do so without causing disruption or breaking the bank.

Intrust’s manager of IT and infrastructure had been formerly employed at Koch, the second largest private enterprise in the United States. Koch had found itself in a similar position when it migrated from Avaya to Microsoft Teams. Continuant had provided maintenance and managed services to help Koch accomplish this.
