Tacoma, WA—Continuant, a leading Pacific Northwest-based managed services provider, today announced the appointment of Aldo Febro, Ph.D., as the company’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Febro previously held the position of Director of Enterprise Architecture at Continuant.
In his new role, Dr. Febro will be responsible for the oversight of Continuant’s corporate cybersecurity program as well a new service for customers that focuses on comprehensive cybersecurity services from assessment to implementation.

Febro said that having a mature cybersecurity program is essential to every organization, regardless of size or geographic location. “In today's hyper-connected world, where relentless cyberattacks are becoming all-too-frequent, the role of the CISO not only encompasses the protection of technology and corporate tech infrastructure, but also governance, risk management, and compliance,” he said.
Febro, a 17-year veteran of Continuant, earned his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire, where he also holds a M.S. in Software Engineering. His certifications include CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), and CPHIMS (Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems).
